About Me
I have been researching the Pytlewski family for at least 12 years and have been involved in genealogy even longer (I lost track). My passion for genealogy encouraged me to obtain my first library job and I have been pursuing a library career ever since. I earned a Master of Library and Information Science and a Certificate of Archival Administration in August, 2007.
My interests (and there are many) include genealogy and local history, preservation and conservation, digital resources, academic libraries, public libraries, archives, genealogy, and a lot of old stuff. My interests include both the old and the new and I firmly believe that we can use the new to enhance the old.
Here is the perfect YouTube video by Laura Cohen that explains my professional philosophy. Although, I would like to add I always strive to serve my patrons in an old school neighborhood friendly manner with dignity and respect for every patron.
